Why I’m Starting a Blog (as an Introvert)

“Sometimes my thoughts feel like guests who visit briefly, then vanish before I’ve even had the chance to introduce them.”

I’m an introvert. My thoughts tend to appear, linger for a moment, then vanish — often replaced by the day’s mundane to-do list. This blog is my way of giving them somewhere to live before they fade.

Many people think introverts avoid sharing opinions. I disagree. We just prefer to share them in quieter ways. In the past, that might have meant keeping a private journal. But the thing about journals is… unless someone sneaks a peek, the words rarely get read.

This blog is my in-between space — not blasted across my mostly inactive social media, but here for anyone who happens to stumble in. If you do, feel free to say hello in the comments.

This blog is my practice space — for the book I want to write one day, for becoming braver about sharing my thoughts, and for sharpening the way I express myself in conversation. Until then, every post here is a small step toward that bigger goal, and a way to make sure my ideas don’t just disappear into the ether.
